Sphero is a robot sealed by a white polycarbonate shell controlled by your smart phone through an app. It has a built in gyroscope so not only can it roll in any direction, but it can also be used as a controller for other phone apps.

How does it work?

    The Sphero is controlled by smartphone through bluetooth and is charged through a wireless charging base. Inside is a two wheeled robot which is sealed inside the sphere. You can also program the Sphero through another app on the smartphone.

What does it do?

    The Sphero can speed as fast as 7 feet per second. Using your smart phone you can control it live and also program it to do a set of different moves like going in a circle. Some apps made by Sphero let you use it as a controller being able to tilt it in a direction to control an app on your smartphone. Sphero being water proof also lets you drive it into water.
